I've been going to Die Hard CrossFit Gym for about three months, and it's been amazing. I've met a lot of great people and gotten in better shape, thanks to the support and guidance from the coaches. I have some injuries from my time in the military, particularly with my back and knees, but the coaches have been fantastic in helping me with my form and modifying workouts to prevent further injury. I've been to my fair share of crossfit boxes over the years, and have seen a lot of different methods of teaching crossfit, but I'll always return to diehard for a premier fitness experience in the Daytona/Ormond area. It's a box that looks stylish, and the workouts and programming are geared towards people who want to be here five days a week. They have a way of making you feel like family, even if you haven't been a consistent member over the years. 10/10 highly reccomend if you're trying to be the best version of yourself.

Nope! Most of our members start just like you. We assess each new members fitness level. Then our workouts are “universally scaled”, with a different version of each days workout designed for every level. As you level up you can take on more challenging variants of the workout if you desire. Sign up today!

If you’re a beginner and just starting out then 2-4 times per week will be enough to see results and allow you to adjust.

You’ll be sore some days, so allow yourself recovery days between training sessions at first – over the course of the following months work up towards 5 days per week if you want to maximize! Sign up today!

We offer an exciting, challenging and varied programming which will keep it fun! The workouts are published in advance.

Some days are more strength focused where we will focus on our lifts. Movements like barbell squats, kettlebell swings and occasionally some olympics lifts will be included.

Other days, we may focus more on cardio & conditioning with rowers and bikes. Some days are focused on body weight movements like pushups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Some days are a mix of everything. Sign up today!

Each class is 60 minutes and led by qualified coaches. We always start together with a warm-up designed to activate the muscles being used in the workout.

The coach will brief the group on the workout, the movements, and the proper form. During the workout, the coach will be guiding and providing instruction.

Biography CF DIEHARD

My passion for health and fitness stems from my time as a professional athlete and my 20 honorable years in the military. From a young age, fitness shaped my discipline, resilience, and enthusiasm for staying athletic. With over 30 years in fitness, one invaluable lesson stands out: everything worth achieving is earned, not given.

I’ve been dedicated to sports and fitness since the age of five, playing various sports and polishing my athletic abilities for both competitive performance and lifelong wellness. An active lifestyle early on laid the foundation for my future as an elite athlete. I continued competing at a high level in soccer until 2024, overcoming six knee surgeries along the way.

My military career further solidified my commitment to fitness. During my service, I discovered the principles of cross-training in 2004. By 2005, during my first deployment, I was introduced to CrossFit through collaboration with specialized military organizations. Although my training programs had traditionally focused on sport-specific and strength-maintenance routines, CrossFit’s methodology caught my attention in 2009. As the military’s athletic facilities evolved to emphasize CrossFit principles, my training transformed, and it became a cornerstone of my physical preparedness.

CrossFit has been instrumental in helping me stay in peak condition throughout my collegiate and professional athletic career, as well as during my time in the military. It has also empowered me to return to competition after significant injuries, proving the power of structured, functional fitness.

After retiring from professional sports, I pursued a B.S. in Sports and Health Science and continue to earn advanced certifications in training. My goal is to inspire others to lead healthy, active lifestyles by helping them push past their limits, build confidence, and reach new heights of strength, mobility, and personal records.

I believe in fostering a “NEVER QUIT” mindset, empowering individuals to believe in themselves and discover their full potential. Whether you’re starting your fitness journey or aiming to elevate your performance, I’m here to help you achieve greatness.

Membership change POLICY

Memberships can be changed from 3x/week, Unlimited, Plus, Platinum and Inner Circle. If you are on a grandfathered membership no longer offered and choose to switch from that membership to a current membership option, you will not be able to switch back to the old membership and will only be eligible for current membership offerings.

Keriann says helping someone reach a goal or just making someone’s day is her true passion. She believes in spreading kindness. “When someone comes into the gym in a down mood, I love when I can help them leave with a smile on their face,” she says.

Keriann has struggled with anxiety since middle school and has always used exercise as an outlet for it. When she first tried CrossFit, she was hooked. “Within my first month of CrossFit, I knew I wanted to become a coach,” she says. “I started to realize how much CrossFit was becoming a tool to help combat my anxiety. Not only was I was achieving things and doing movements I never thought I would be capable of doing, I had a community of people around me who actually cared about me and my progress, something I had never experienced in my previous workout regimen.”

Helping people improve their healthy has always been one of my biggest goals. I am currently in studying to get my BS in Kinesiology, and I plan to be a PE teacher or athletic director. I love to see people walk in the gym, accomplish a new movement or kill a workout and leave with a smile on their face! Ever since I started CrossFit I knew I was gonna love it. I previously did competitive gymnastics and was looking for a sport similar after I stopped competing and shortly after I started doing CrossFit! I was hooked after the first workout and haven’t looked back since. The CrossFit community is absolutely amazing, the support and drive one gets from coaches and other members is what pushes me to try my best every day.

Jessy is a veteran volleyball player and coach, and she found a love for CrossFit after setting a goal: to be in the best shape of her life by 30. “Sure enough, CrossFit did the trick!” she says, while recounting her story. “A couple of years later, the opportunity of becoming a CrossFit coach was there so I jumped on it.”

Jessy doesn’t view this as her job, but more as a purpose. “It just feels right to be around people trying to make their day a little better. And, if I can help members achieve any fitness goals, reach a PR, or witness anyone do a movement for the first time… that’s just like bonus points!” she says. “What I love most about coaching is the social interactions and the relationships/community being built. I enjoy being around people but I also like getting to know the members personally.”

Fun facts about Jessy: Before coaching volleyball and CrossFit, she was an elementary school P.E teacher in Denver, Colorado. She also speaks both English and French.

Louisa has a background in Yoga and Aerial Arts. She taught Yoga for several years and performed Lyra for several years as well. She started her CrossFit journey as a way to get stronger and has been with CrossFit Diehard since 2020. She loves to help others realize their potential mentally and physically and is dedicated to helping others become who they have always wanted to be. Most of all she loves to make people smile!!!

BARRY "BOZ" BOSWELL

OWNER AND HEAD COACH

Boz was truly passionate about fitness from a very young age. So much so that as a young teenager when most of his peers were more interested in video games, he convinced his parents to allow him to convert their garage into his personal gym. Since then, Boz has been dedicated to strength and fitness, and helping people live active, fulfilling lives.

Boz found CrossFit in his senior year at Liberty University where he was pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. While he was learning how to make people stronger and perform better, he was becoming bored with his own exercise program. CrossFit changed the way he saw fitness, provided him with unparalleled results, and gave him an avenue to build a dream career. Today, Boz strives to help people discover their own strength and abilities, and to show them how to accomplish what they believe to be the impossible.

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION REQUEST

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
